This year, I am thankful for something quite odd in today’s culture. I am thankful for a God who is, without apology, jealous and controlling. “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17) This comes in the middle of the Lord’s prayer . . . in the garden of Gethsemane.
